She suggested I get out of the bath, dry my hair, throw on a hat, and just do it! So, I did just that and I feel great. I was able to run 5.46 km without difficulty and I feel great! Running is such a stress reliever for me, allowing me to clear my mind and feel strong. I came home so stinky that I was able to enjoy another bath!
I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to run the entire distance because I've had so many days off in between runs, due to weather and life. I am hopeful that the cold, snowy, windy days are gone, although it snowed this afternoon! Now is the time to just do it - to increase my speed and endurance and decrease my stress from everyday living.
My eating was bang on! It's been a good day. I need a few weeks of days life this and I will see this extra weight melt away right to goal!
Eating less, moving more,
Dawne

Now that is something I would NEVER have done at that time of night...
You look lovely! I have never commented on your blog before but you are such an inspiration and have such a positive blog. I have to tell you about my second cousin Robin- she married for the first time at age 43 in November of 2019 and became pregnant last August (2010) and now at age 45!!!! is expecting a baby boy around Mother's Day. I was thinking about your friend the recent bride. I have no doubt you will find a good way to maintain your weight.
oops that was 2009 when Robin married!
I'm with Marcelle on this one - you're CRAZY, but go for it with gusto! Hey, you got two great baths out of it.
I can't believe you are still seeing snow. I noticed yesterday that all the snow is gone off even the highest peaks in the Smokies now!
What a great job!!! I am glad that you Just did it!!It sure will pay off!
I'm a bath person too. Any reason to take two in one day and I'm there!!!
Great job on the run!
Hi Dawne, I am so impressed!! You made the right choice!! I always find that the best workouts are the ones I do when I don't really want to. When I push yourself to just do it!!
Great job!!
Keep focused!
