I prepared a delicious, easy, "clean"meal tonight. As a working Mom, I need easy meals for nights when we have to be at three different places at once. ( meetings, music lessons, baseball!) Tonight's dinner was chicken breasts, sliced open, stuffed with fresh spinach and goat cheese feta, topped with bruschetta and baked for 45 minutes. Simple, clean and delicious. I served this with mashed yams, with a little added Greek yogurt to make it creamy and grilled asparagus.
My eating was bang on all day. Why is it so easy some days??? There are days when I forget I've ever had a problem with overeating. Days when I can consume very few calories and feel energized. Then, there are those other days, where it seems impossible to eat in moderation - when food seems to hold power over me. The only power it has, is the power I give it.
Tomorrow is weigh in day on my race to goal. I am hoping for a 4 pound loss. I shouldn't have such high expectations, but I do.
Eating less, moving more,
Dawne

Your dinner sounds fab! I think you should post your clean meals. Seriously.
Dawne, If you ever figure out the key to why some days are so easy and some sooooooooo hard, let me know. You know I've been looking for that answer for almost two years now!

Dawne, I know exactly what you are saying about how easy it is some days and how tough it is the others. I have had zero problem the last two days because I am in the Slimmer for Summer Challenge and it just keeps me on target. I think that building on what I learned in knocking off the weight for 8 months is going to be healthy and habit forming for me. It may help if you joined a challenge as well. it seems to keep me focused for some reason.
You are sounding HIGH on life!!!!
Fantastic...
Can I come for dinner? :) YUM!
Hope your weigh in was super rewarding :)
Wishing you luck! I am late for the June Challenge, but better late than never, right? I'll join you. We are close to the same weight so I am going to be looking to you for encouragement! I've been trying to get back on track and summer is the perfect time to do that!

Your dinner sounds amazing! I know what you mean about some days are effortless and others such a struggle! I wish I had the answer to why that is.
If I could lose 4 pounds in a month I would be so happy! I am a slow loser!
I have found my walking groove again now that the weather is nice again and I feel so much better!
Wishing you well on your weight in!
I have high expectations too...the problem is I rarely meet them. I hope you do well with weigh in!!!
Congratulations on the TWO pound loss! :D
I know you wanted more, but two pounds off is 4 pounds better than two pounds on. And it's the right direction.
Keep pluggin.
